Ford F-150 Trim Level Comparison
Comparing the Seven Trim Levels of the Ford F-150
The Ford F-150 didn't become the most popular full-size pickup in America by accident. It's consistently delivered the best towing and hauling capability in the segment and it's available in a wide variety of trim levels ranging from basic to luxurious and just about everything in between. Regardless of the kind of performance you need, there's a F-150 pickup that will be just right for you at Lamoille Valley Ford, Inc. in Hardwick, VT. Here's a comparison of the seven trims Vermont buyers have to choose from.
The XL trim
The XL is the basic choice but we think you'll be impressed with some of the non-basic features it comes with including automatic high-beam headlights, a rear-view camera and an impressive suite of other safety features. If you're looking for an affordable, work-focused truck like the XL trim, you'll discover it includes all the essentials to meet your basic needs and comes with a low starting price. Buyers from Montpelier or Burlington who select the SuperCrew Cab will have enough seating for up to six people.

The XLT trim
The XLT comes with your choice of Regular, SuperCab and SuperCrew cabs, along with a choice of three bed lengths: 5.5 feet, 6.5 feet and 8.0 feet. The XLT can run with a 3.3-liter V6 engine but it also offers an available 2.7-liter V6, a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, a 3.5-liter hybrid V6 or a big 5.0-liter V8. Take your choice of either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and you'll also get a rear defroster and chrome bumpers.
The F-150 Lariat
The Ford F-150 Lariat model comes in a SuperCrew configuration with either a 5.5-foot bed or a 6.5-foot bed. Truck buyers from Essex and Stowe VT can select a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine, an available hybrid V6, a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 or a 5.0-liter V8. Take your choice of rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and you'll also get a 12-inch digital instrument display, a Bang & Olufsen stereo system with eight speakers and you can upgrade to an available wireless charging pad.

The F-150 Raptor
If you move all the way up to the Raptor, you're at the top of the F-150 mountain. This model comes with a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with 450 horsepower along with off-road suspension and Fox Racing shocks along with all-wheel tires. The body is modified with built-in air extractors and inside the cabin you'll find heated and ventilated leather front seats, a power sliding rear window and heated steering wheel.
F-150 King Ranch
The King Ranch is available exclusively in a SuperCrew cab and a 5.0-liter V8 engine. Heated and ventilated seats are standard and so is a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel and interior ambient lighting. The King Ranch also comes with interior wood trim, adaptive LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, wireless device charging, and embroidered leather upholstery. In addition, you can upgrade to get the luxury of available massaging front seats.

F-150 Platinum
Like the King Ranch, the Ford F-150 Platinum trim comes only in a SuperCrew body style and you can choose a 5.0-liter V8 engine, an optional hybrid powertrain or a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. The Platinum model also comes with heated front and rear seats, 20-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, an available Bang & Olufsen stereo system with 18 speakers and an available Pro trailer backup assist.
F-150 Limited
The F-150 Limited trim level comes in a SuperCrew configuration and operates with a turbocharged 3.5-liter hybrid V6 powertrain. The Limited trim also has on-demand four-wheel drive, 22-inch alloy wheels, heated and massaging front seats, a power tailgate, ProPower on board, an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system and onboard scales with Smart Hitch.
